If you already have Pd-Vanilla (>=0.52), use netpd-plus-instruments.zip. Check docs for installation details and how to get started.

netpd server software

You only need this if you want to run your own netpd server. You don’t need the server for participating in netpd session since there is always a netpd server running on netpd.org.
